Being born and raised in Hawaii has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our stunning islands, the shimmering cobalt blue sea that surrounds us, and the awe-inspiring expanse of our night sky.

Growing up in paradise, I've developed a passion for outdoor activities like sailing, hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, and cycling. And as a dedicated photographer, I'm constantly capturing the beauty of our landscapes, the graceful flight of birds, the majestic presence of whales, and the ethereal glow of the Milky Way. Every night, I step outside my door and gaze up at the heavens, marveling at the stars above. It's a sight that never fails to leave me in awe, and I hope to share that wonder with you.

Four years ago, I retired after an epic four-decade career as a paramedic. While I cherished the opportunity to help people and explore every corner of Maui, it was those late-night drives back to the station that truly ignited my passion for stargazing. I'll never forget the sight of the Southern Cross constellation gleaming overhead as we headed south, or the way the full moon cast a brilliant searchlight beam across the water, guiding us along the shoreline. Now, in this new chapter of my life, I've found my calling: guiding visitors like you on unforgettable stargazing adventures across Maui.
