Health and Safety Advisory
Our tour takes place at high elevations, in low-light conditions, and on uneven surfaces. For your safety, we do not recommend this tour for individuals with chronic health conditions, such as respiratory, circulatory, or cardiac issues, as well as those with mobility impairments or overall poor health. If you use a pacemaker, walker, wheelchair, or oxygen tank, please consult your physician before booking. Motion Sickness Warning
This tour involves traversing curvy roads. If you are prone to motion sickness, we advise against booking. Consider using "Sea-bands" to apply acupressure for relief.
Assumption of Risk
All activities are undertaken at your own risk. AMAZING MAUI STARS LLC and its officers assume no liability, expressed or implied, for any incidents that may occur.
Age and Weight Restrictions
The minimum age for this tour is 7 years or 40 pounds. In compliance with Hawaii State law, a booster seat is required and should be provided by parents. Children must use a booster seat until they are at least 10 years old or 4 feet 9 inches tall, at which point they can use just a lap and shoulder seatbelt.
Telescope Use
Our computerized Celestron telescope will guide you through the universe, with an additional screen available for enhanced viewing.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel, please notify us at Patricia@amazingmauistarstour.com as soon as possible to allow others the opportunity to reserve your spot.
Refunds
No refunds will be issued for no-shows or cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled check-in time. Changes to reservations are not permitted within 48 hours prior to the tour. Please email us to discuss any needs. If you are feeling unwell, contact Patricia@amazingmauistarstour.com, as we prioritize the safety of all participants.
Management Rights
AMAZING MAUI STARS LLC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any tour at the discretion of management. In the event of weather-related cancellations, a full refund or the option to reschedule will be provided. Observing locations and equipment may change without prior notice.
Safety Guidelines
Watch your step when entering and exiting the van.
Someone will assist you as needed.
Please stay together as a group and wait for instructions before touching the telescope.
For your safety, please remain seated while removing shoes to put on or take off insulated pants.
If you experience any medical issues, please inform your guide immediately.
Scuba Diving Restrictions
For your safety, please refrain from scuba diving within 24 hours prior to your tour date to avoid the risk of decompression sickness. Snorkeling and swimming are permitted. If you are at elevation, we recommend waiting at least 12 hours for every 700 meters (2,300 feet) of elevation gain before scuba diving after the trip.
